I myself use Chrome for casual use but Firefox for development cause of it's great developer tools since I work in web development. For basic web surfing use Safari, and for intensive tasks that require multiple tabs and Google apps stick with chrome. I think so far, the Chrome app is miles ahead of the rest but misses some of the key features Edge and Firefox provideįirefox's defining feature is it's ability to run plugins from the mobile browser.Įdge in itself is a lot like chrome so not much to say there other than the UI being a bit weird looking in my opinion. Safari is the most optimized of all for Mac, so it will probably have the smoothest performance. You also have to think of the mobile apps. If you're a developer looking for great tooling then Firefox is your go to but have the rest in order to test for cross browser compat. Their integration and flexibility is second to none.
